VINCE TYLER CEC - Running for Secretary

For over 35 years I have been in the Food Service industry. I have worked in many types of concepts from casual to fine dining and I have held many different positions from dishwasher to Director of Research and Development.
I am a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America; I grew up in Chicago, and have worked in Denver, Memphis, Nashville and Italy.

I’m currently Manager of Product Development for Cracker Barrel Restaurants.
We have just 600 restaurants across the country. My primary responsibility is the development of new and promotional menu items.

One of the things I am most proud of in my career is my ACF membership. I have been a member since 1983. I received my CEC certification 2 years ago. I am in the process of getting my CCA certification. I believe certification is one of the best things that the ACF has to offer. I would like to see our chapter become one of the top chapters in certifying culinarians. I am interested in helping our chapter grow in membership and in Chef Certifications.
I am asking for your vote for the Secretary of the Middle Tennessee Chapter of the ACF.

Robert Crittendon - Running for Seargent at Arms

I am Robert Crittenden a retired school administrator. I have been married to Carol for 38 years and have 2 grown daughters.  I have been a member of the local chapter for the past five years.  Although I have never been involved in the food service  industry, I've worked food boths at the La. State Fair, Concession Stands for schools where I worked, and Hendersonville's Soccer League.  For the past 7 years, I've been Receptions Manager (unpaid position) at Christ Church Cathedral where I do from 16 to 24 receptions a year.  When Nancy Campbell heard I was doing this, she invited me to a meeting.  I found that I could learn so much more and joined the next month.

I have been on the board of Senior Citizens of Hendersonville and served as President one year, and was on the board of the Hendersonville Soccer League and served as registerar for 2 years.  Currently I volunteer at Nashville Cares as a care team member,  deliver Holiday meals, and most recently as one of the hosts at Valentino's Restaurant for Dining Out For Life.
