Recipe Contest with Yazoo Beer
Entree/App...$200 prize Dessert... $200 prize

Create an original recipe in either category using Yazoo Beer (Pale Ale or Dos Perros)
We will provide the judges and a bunch of hungry chefs, Yazoo will provide the beer.

We had a number of great entries into the Yazoo Contest.
1st Place $200.00 in the Entree division is Angie Smith from the Art Institute - with her Carne Asada on Handmade Corn Tortillas and topped with Fresh Goat Cheese. A tip of the hat to Lisa Ramsey with her Beer Pulled Pork, Mike Osborne with his Beer Bangers and Mash, Rick Kahre with his Beer Pot Roast, and Mark Rubin and Claudette Patterson with their Sweet Hot Beer Wings.

In the Dessert portion, we had a split win - tied for 1st Place - $100.00 each - Rick Kahre with his Beer Enhanced Lemon Pound Cake and Kristain Morgan for his Black Cow Root Beer Float with Beer Flavored Ice Cream.
Other dessert entrants were Nancy Campbell with her Beer And Walnut Crunch Cake, Nashville State Community College with their Beer Ice Cream, Cathrine Harp with her Choc Beer Cake with Raspberry Sauce, Kimberly Davis with her Beer Carrot Cake, and Chris Shores with the Beer Apricot Strudle .
