Special Events – Golf Outing (Cathy Hoormann Gary Rawson) gave a brief outline of the Golf Tournament and the plans being made so far.
Secondary Education Chair – Tammy Sandlin “Soup Sunday / Serve Safe”
The MTC-ACF won the coveted Silver Spoon Award at Souper Sunday. The Plaque was given to Gary Rawson to display in his office at Vanderbilt for one year.
Meeting Update – Robert Siegel gave an overview of the plans for the upcoming meetings

6:40 MAKE UP** In January Jody Perling and Nashville Cash and Carry provided us with some excellent food products and Raffle Items. Due to a change in program elements at that meeting, I was unable to provide them with the proper platform to give a presentation about the programs they have available for us. I am pleased to welcome back Jody Perling of Nashville Cash and Carry

6:50 PM Educational Portion: – Introduction of Guest Presenter from Inland Seafood:
Introduction by: (Anna Hicks)
Vicky Murphy- Marketing Director, Chef Mike Priebel -Sourcing Specialist, and Phil Fortson -Specialty Brands Manager of Inland Seafood conducted and open panel discussion touching on sustainability, product sourcing and all the dirty tricks of the Seafood trade. It was eye opening to many of our younger members.
