$200 First Prize to the Chef with the Best Southern Fried Chicken

Actually - there will only be one prize - one place - first place winner $200
- no runners-up - no 2nd place - no 3rd place -thats it!

All right all you Iron Chefs - Pay attention - here are the rules-
1. Any Member can enter- If you think you make good Southern Fried Chicken and are willing to make 10lb. of it to prove it - then come on and give it a try - we will even provide the Chicken - well Tyson and Food Sales East will.
2. Pick up your Chicken at FSE - Just come by Food Sales East during operating hours, give them your name and tell them that you want 10 lbs of Chicken ( 8-cut) to enter into the contest. They will give you the chicken. If you want to provide your own chicken - no one will stop you.
3. Fry Up your Secret Recipe - take the chicken and do your thing, have it ready to be tasted by 6:00 pm on Monday September15th at the Chapter Meeting.  Bring it hot, cold, in your own chafer or on a platter - however you want to serve it.
4. Cast your vote for the best - that's it, walk around and taste everyone else's chicken and cast your vote for the best.

The Chapter will provide a keg or two of beer- FSE and Chef Dallas Parrish are going to cook up the accompaniments and desserts - I think they want to fry some chicken as well.    We will all indulge, chow down, chicken up and vote for the best.

After the Chicken Extravaganza - we will call the meeting to order and install the new officers -
