“NOT JUST ANOTHER BARBEQUE - 2008” Monday Night ~ June 9th Meeting, Election, Cocktails and Social Hour 6:00 – 7:00PM

 The Wheels on the Bus went round and round - its probably a good thing considering that the bar was a free and open. |
 The shrimp and oysters started the evening out just right. |

 As everyone arrived, the bar got open and the visiting and conversation started to roll. Here, Mark Rubin and Kim Ingram exchange pleasantries. |
 And who is this? Minnie Hoormann, Cathy Pearl??? Howdeeeeee.... Just so glad to be here!! |

 Tom and Babs Loftis. Tom is the one with a beer in his hands and Babs is sipping a glass of wine. Just in case there was a question in your mind. |

 Bro, on the other hand, loves his picture taken, gettin a little attention- there is a plate full of shrimp and oysters under that hand. |

 Nancy Campbell is getting around better after her foot operation. She puttered around like a little motor boat. |
 Brenda Lewis and good ole D.J. - Dinner was coming soon, so they got a head start on the dining room. |

It was election day and there were plenty of unsavory characters hanging out around the polling place. Like Marv (Bad Dude) and Ruth Sheflin Or Lisa Ramsey with her daughter above and below. And there right in the election booth, pulling out his wallet to bribe the officials is Black Hat Rick Hobson with Barbara watching over. |

 Here are our beleagured election officials, Gary Rawson and Elaine Taubin - tasked with running a clean fair election. |
 Max Boyle and Kathy Henderson from Fresh Point Nashville was another couple of shady peeps eyeing the balloting. |

 Finally it was dinner time, and Mike Osborne and his crew of merry pirates laid on the spread. Spectacular. |
 Barbequed Grilled Jumbo Shrimp - yea baby this was heaven on earth. |

 Grilled BBQ chicken breasts - and peaking out from behind the chafer is a tray of grilled vegetables - yum!! |

 What barbeque would be complete without pulled shoulder - slow smoked and juicy tender. |
 Crank up the Bluegrass Band and Rock-a-Billy on down. They were supurb- smooth as Gentleman Jack with a toe tapping twang that was music to all our ears. |
