THE 2007 Southeastern Regional

The American Culinary Federation held its Southeastern Regional Conference in Nashville, Tennessee, April 29-May 1, 2007 and by all accounts, it was a very successful event. Here are some of the sights and sounds of Nashville, and the Music City Sheraton as we hosted 150 Chefs and Food Service professionals.

First Cudos to the National Office for the fine show and organizational efforts. Let us introduce them to you.

St. Augustine Office & Staff( L to R): Candace Kirkpatrick, Melissa Shrader, Kevin Brune, Debra Bulak, Heidi Cramb, Patricia Carroll, Tracey Smith, Jennifer Kieth, not pictured Roxanne Jordan

Jarad Schulman- Event Manager, Music City Sheraton
From our local chapter, there are a lot of people to note: Anna Hicks, Cathy Hoormann, Rick Kahre, Willie Jemison, Dave Lowrance, Michael Osborne, Dallas Parrish, Michael Adams, Tom Loftis, Rick Martinez, Melissa Linkinhoker, Brenda Lewis, Nancy Campbell, Matt Simonds, Darrell Breaux, Camp Howard, Jan Watts, Tammy Sandlin, Students of NSCC, Students of the Art Institute Nashville, Laurie Potts Wildhorse Saloon, and to any I have forgotten to thank, I apologize.

A tip of the Toque to the Music City Sheraton, who took on the dubious task of hosting 300 Chefs and food service personnel. Talk about a task with problem potential- 300 Chefs where nothing can be as good as they can do it.

To the staff and management - we thank you for all your service. The Hotel did an admirable job- exceptional indeed.

This event which brought together nearly 250 of America's most influential and accomplished chefs, celebrity chefs, culinary educators and students, restaurateurs and food industry representatives was packed with professional development, networking, leading industry expertise and social events.
