American Culinary Federation - Southeastern Regional Conference - Nashville, Tennessee, April 29-May 1, 2007 !
1. I was looking for and did not see any info on an AAC Dinner. Is there not one planned for the SE? I saw the other ACF Regions had their AAC dinner events posted with the Welcome/Greeting.
A.We appreciate your concern and desire to honor the Academy, as they should be,
however National has cut the regional schedule by one full day in response to
the concerns of members. This leaves only one evening as a chapter fund raiser.
Our board deliberated over this for some time but decided to stay on track with
our support for child hunger awareness in middle Tenessee. Therefore , our
opening night will be music and entertainment at the Wildhorse Saloon to welcome
members and raise funds, which in part will help fund Metro Schools/homeless
education program for children. The remaing two evenings are committed to
foodservice sponsors reception/show and the presidents' gala.
