Purity Dairies get First Place Awards
Congratulations to Purity Dairies recent award at the World Dairy Expo in Middleton,
Wisconsin. Purity’s Premium Vanilla Bean ice cream was awarded first place in the only
worldwide taste competition of its kind.
Judges at the Tennessee State Fair gave Purity five first place awards our of eight dairy
categories. At the Kentucky State Fair, Purity took home nine gold medals and seven Blue
ribbons our of 18 categories.
There is no doubt that at the General Meeting on October 18, 2004 at the Cool Springs Marriott, Purity made
our chefs very happy by serving that award winning Vanilla Bean ice cream. In addition to sweetening up our
meeting, they passed around a sign up sheet for each chef to receive a tub of this yummy treat in their very own
kitchen. So we would like to raise our spoons in a salute to Purity for sharing their Award

BRAVO to our very own Anna Lia Notardonato “Hicks”. You many not be aware that Chef Anna is owner/operator of TuttoBenne “Home of the Tender Biscotti”. However, in the September 2004 issue of Fresh Cup Magazine, Anna was one of the
featured bakers. In fact, she was the chef that Laura Morris began her reporting with in the article titled “The Science & Art of Biscotti”. Anna has taken her Italian family’s secret recipe and keeps coming up with many delicious flavors to be a delight with any cup of coffee or tea.
