
March 21st Chapter Meeting: The Factory Grill

At the Factory Grill on Hill Avenue ( off Murfreesboro and Arlington- the old Aladdin plant ), In the absence of the Chapter president, Gary Rawson, the meeting was called to order at 6:00 pm by Rick Kahre.
Meetings can be judged as good or bad using the Glutius Maximus as an indicator. If your butt starts to bother you, then the meeting has gone on to long or it is to boring. Good News for this meeting, there was very little pain in the butt.

We sat through the first reading of the new By-Laws. We will have to sit through a second reading next meeting. The good news is that Elaine Taubin did an excellent job in the revision and this bit of business is almost complete.

Elaine Parker made a pitch for the MTCACF to help with a picnic on June 23rd for the Tennessee School for the Blind- Elaine took names to help in the project.

Nancy Campbell asked for help with a Medical Mission June 13th - 17th. She asks that anyone with old unused eyeglasses donate them to this cause.

Josh Kiev apprised us of the details of the Upcoming Golf tournament at Legends Golf course in Franklin Tennessee, Monday August 15th.

Willie Jemison requested anyone with time and desire, get with him to set up dates for Chef and Child outings to various schools.

Chris Burgess, owner of Factory Grill, with Chef Gerry Ludwig, Chef Rob Granberg, and Chef Jan Watts of Gordons Foodservice prepared a stunning amount of fine foods and new ideas for our consumption

Chef Rick Kahre and Chef Anna Lee Hicks produced Tiramisu for us all. The wiley German used an
abundance of alcohol in his preparation to edge past the little Italian girl, in the popular vote.

At this point, my butt started to get sore, and luckily the meeting ended.
